  • Do you do commissioned custom paintings?

I no longer accept commissions. Since 1990, I have created many commissioned original oil and acrylic paintings for individuals and corporations. See the collection here.

  • What is the difference between the paper and canvas prints?

Canvas prints are available in a range of sizes. They arrive printed on canvas and stretched on a 1.5” deep wooden stretcher and ready to hang – no framing necessary. The size options are available in the drop down menu of each print.

Paper prints (unframed) require framing once you receive them. I recommend a double off white mat with glass and a neutral flat profile frame. Your local framer can help you choose.

  • Do you offer custom framing? Should I frame canvas prints?

I don’t provide framing. You can take your new artwork to your local framer who will help you select complementary framing to suit your style. My paper paintings and paper prints require matting and framing when you receive them.

My canvas and plywood paintings, and canvas prints, however, are ready to hang, already stretched on a wooden frame.

TO FRAME OR NOT TO FRAME CANVAS ARTWORK? I like canvas paintings and prints hung as is (unframed), but some clients like to have them mounted in a floater frame for emphasis. Consult your local framer.
